Social advertizing in Russian Federation makes people better

Social promotion is not new in former Soviet Union as it can seem. Even many years ago social advertizing took an important place in everyday life. All Russians who lived in those years remember social posters and television spots where ideas of responsibility were declared. The following texts were so much popular: “Save our nature, it’s our motherhood”, “Matches are not toys for boys” etc. All these social advertisments were sponsored by Soviet government and created by official institutions. Nowadays everything has changed and we may find many different social advertising which is sponsored by Russian government, non-commercial companies and private persons. Much money is spent every week on various social campaigns which are created by popular media campaigns with movie spots, social posters, texts etc.
A lot of international organizations work on the territory of former Soviet Union and a great deal of social ads from different countries can ve found at the moment in Russia. I am sure that it is really great as we have a unique opportunity to use best world experience in the sphere of social promotion as our own traditions in this field are very weak but we have many ideas and creative directors who can make all them visible. That’s why various competitions of social advertizing are so popular now in Russian Federation and a lot of professional advertizing companies took an active part in such kind of events and if you enter tube sites you can find many social spots created by the leading local firms but usually the visualization of social messages leaves much to be desired. Still there are quite a lot of interesting social ads on tobacco addiction and other problems. But certainly, we should always keep in mind about the current situation in Russian Federation and the main difficulties which the government has to sort out. One of such problems is demographic decrease as too many people die in Russian Federation and they understand that they should force families to give more births. As an example of social promotion which concentrated on demographic problems we can state on social posters which were placed in Moscow metro with a lady with three children on her knees. This post gives more questions rather than gives replys as there is no male on this poster and the lady looks sad.
I think that social promotion in former Soviet Union just starts its way and in the nearest future we will see lots of great examples of television spots and social posters as well as complicated social campaigns.
